Mine has been built on consistent learning, discipline, and a deep commitment to the world of financial markets. Over the years, I’ve experienced the transformation of the industry, the evolution of investor needs, and the responsibilities that come with building an organisation from the ground up.
From early groundwork to major milestones, each phase has brought new purpose and direction adding layers to who I am today as a professional and as a person.

My Journey
My journey in the stock market began in 1990, when I started helping my father part-time in his proprietorship firm.
What started as assistance soon became a deep interest in financial markets.
Over the years, I gradually transitioned into the business full-time, learning every aspect from the ground up.
In 2001, Deepak Mishra joined our business. His entry marked an important turning point, strengthening our operations and bringing new momentum to our work.
Together, we began expanding and setting the foundation for what was to come.
A major milestone arrived in 2005, when I, along with my father Late Mr. Sushil Kumar Shah, incorporated Lakshmishree Investment & Securities Ltd.
From starting as a small sub-broker with just 2 people, we began our journey to becoming a full-fledged brokerage house.
The journey from a sub-broker to a recognized broker was filled with challenges, but also with achievements.
With dedication, strong teamwork and the support of clients and associates, we grew into a family of nearly 200 people, with offices spread across the country.
Every hurdle we crossed taught us resilience, discipline and the power of collective effort.
In 2011, I diversified our business portfolio with the launch of Lakshmishree Real Estate & Landscaper (P) Ltd.
This expansion added a new dimension to our group.
In 2015, we achieved another milestone with the launch of our sample flat, marking visible progress in the real estate venture.
2019 marked a new chapter in our journey as the next generation stepped in.
Divyansh Shah joined the business with a fresh perspective and an ever-growing passion for the capital markets. This is the phase that represents continuity: the values, discipline, and commitment of our legacy, taken forward with renewed energy and vision.
I firmly believe learning has no age limit.
Throughout my career, I have completed various certifications from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) to keep evolving with the industry.
Academically, I completed my schooling from St. John’s School, Marhauli and graduated from Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
I also value work-life balance deeply — exercising daily, prioritizing health, and nurturing personal relationships.
Outside work, I enjoy reading, travelling, swimming and socializing, all of which keep me grounded and energized.

With over 30 years of experience in the securities and capital markets, I continue to lead with a focus on discipline, transparency and investor-first principles.
Since its incorporation in 2005, Lakshmishree Investment & Securities Ltd. has grown into a full-service brokerage house and is a:
- Corporate Member of NSE, BSE, MCX
- Depository Participant with CDSL
